Introvert Tribute: Quiet Strength
True to herself, yet misunderstood,
A tangled web of restrictions she withstood.
Feeling deeply, feeling much,
Deemed too sensitive, a burden to touch.
Open and honest, yet labeled as tough,
Playful and quirky, called weird and rough.
Forced into masks of ego and guise,
To gain acceptance, she learned to despise.
But tired of pretending, she took a stand,
No longer watering herself for demand.
Rejecting the illusion, she sought her own way,
To find happiness, her own price to pay.
She wanted to feel, to question, to explore,
To rewrite her script, to seek something more.
In grace and acceptance, she let the mask fall,
Embracing her true self, standing tall.
Braving the wilderness, alone but free,
In an act of self-love, she chose to be.
No longer bound by others' expectations,
She found her voice in quiet declarations.
Misunderstood introvert, now at peace,
Accepting herself, her soul's release.
In her vulnerability, she found her strength,
And in embracing her truth, she found at length,
That the greatest journey lies within,
Where acceptance and love forever begin.
