Good Faith Estimate

Soothing Spaces Counseling

Soothing Spaces Counseling offers self-pay options for therapy services, and we accept some insurance plans. For clients using Out-of-Network (ONN) benefits, we can provide a superbill upon request for potential reimbursement through your insurance provider.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, all clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" detailing expected costs of therapy services.

This means:

  • You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of the total anticipated cost for any non-emergency therapy services, including costs related to assessments, treatment sessions, and follow-up care.

  • You should receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day prior to your first scheduled therapy session. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from your therapist before scheduling any future services.

  • If your actual therapy bill is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.

Please keep a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. If you have questions or would like additional information on your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
